We are always looking at ways we can cut our environmental impact.

We would love to tell you that our secret recipe of botanicals including heather, gorse and welsh bilberries are sourced from the local hills and valleys of the Ceiriog Valley, where they grow naturally. But sustainability and maintaining the beauty of this area are more important to us, so our botanicals are acquired from more sustainable sources – we don’t need to disturb the land, and the berries are left for the wildlife.

We are also eliminating plastic from our packaging, and using biodegradable materials wherever we can:

– Our tamper seals are made from paper and are fully recyclable – just put them in your regular paper and cardboard recycling bin
– Our bottle is made from fully recyclable glass, although we’d love you to keep it and use it to bottle your sloe, blackberry or elderberry gin made from the goodies you gather from your foraging adventures
– Our boxes are designed to hold and protect your beautiful bottle without the need for any further plastic or other non-recyclable packaging.

We are doing our bit for the environment, and always welcome any feedback on what we can do better.
